In order to provide a functional workspace, we removed the washer from the kitchen and relocated the doorway to the corner area. This allowed for an L-shaped cabinet design and a small island with an 18" quartz countertop overhang. Reclaimed white oak barn wood flooring was used in the kitchen, dining, and bath rooms.
